Based on the contribution of the entire KÜHME know-how, closing times of less than 150 milliseconds are achieved and guaranteed by means of performance optimised technology for valve type’s of complete size spectrum. The use of special high temperature materials allows their application for cutting-edge Gas Turbines with enhanced performance parameters.

OPERATION DETAILS
The linear movement of the valve stem is generated by a strong pneumatic actuator which is energized by a solenoid valve. The automatic forced quick-closing function – in less than 150 miiliseconds – is ensured by a heavy-duty spring. The valve plug is equipped with a special soft sealing element ensuring premium tightness (leakage rate A acc. EN 12266-1).
