PRESSURE-REDUCING STATION
Pressure-reducing stations are the transfer station between public transport pipelines and the plant’s own pipeline system. Due to the fact that the pressure in the plant’s own pipeline system is much lower, it has to be conditioned by the pressure-reducing station onto the maximum admissible pressure. A pressure regulator is used to reduced the inlet pressure to the optimum operating pressure for the burners/system. Depending on the pressure the pressure regulator is a pilot operated- or direct-acting type.

General description
The pressure-reducing stations are equipped with all necessary valves and instruments for a safe operation. The pressure-reducing station is usually part of the fuel supply line. Valves, instruments and pipings are fitted on a common framework with defined connecting points which makes it easy for our customers to embedd the pressure-reducing station into the fuel supply pipeline.
